Blowing snow

Every now and then we get some pretty impressive weather down here. A couple of days ago, the sun came out just as strong winds were whipping up a surface layer of very light, powdery snow. It looked great, so I headed outside with my camera. I had a bit of a battle trying to prevent the blowing snow from landing on the lens, so if you see any big splodges on the photos then that’s probably why!

More icebergs. The really interesting thing about icebergs is that the bit of them that you see is… just the tip of the iceberg. Ho ho.
